Julie Koch-Bossenberger

Julie Koch-Bossenberger , nee Julie Koch , also Julie Bossenberger , ( 1848 - June 12, 1895 in Wildungen ) was a German opera singer and stage actress .

Life

Originally an operetta singer, she worked at the court theater in Vienna from 1872 to 1874, then for 18 years at the court theater in Hanover, where she was appointed chamber singer for her outstanding services. She was one of the most famous coloratura singers of her time.

She was married to the conductor Heinrich Bossenberger , her daughter Maria Bossenberger also became an opera singer.
