Julienne Mathieu

Julienne Alexandrite Mathieu (* before 1890, † after 1907) was a French actress who appeared in numerous silent films .

Life

In the second half of the 1890s she married the Spaniard Segundo de Chomón , with whom she then lived in Barcelona . Her career began when she returned to Paris in 1905 with the film La poule aux oeufs d'or , in which she took the lead role. After that she took part in at least 21 films, especially in the years from 1907 to 1909. With the well-known Spanish film El hotel eléctrico by Segundo de Chomón, she was seen in one of the many early stop-motion films.
