Julij Krelin
Julij Susmanowitsch Krelin , actually Krejndlin , also July Krelin (born May 15, 1929 in Moscow , † May 22, 2006 in Tel Aviv ) was a Soviet writer and surgeon.
Life
After graduating from Moscow Medical School in 1954, Krelin received his doctorate and then worked as a surgeon in a Moscow hospital. He was also active as a writer and in 1969 was accepted into the Writers' Union of the USSR . Krelin was friends with dissidents and gave them medical assistance.
Julij Krelin wrote prose . Several of the stories he created were filmed.
