Julio César Costemalle

Julio César Costemalle (born May 3, 1914 in Montevideo ) is a former Uruguayan swimmer and water polo player .

Costemalle, sometimes also in the spelling Costemale, joined the Uruguayan water polo team as part of the Uruguayan Olympic team at the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin . The Uruguayans finished the Olympic water polo competition in 13th place. He was also a member of the Uruguayan squad at the 1948 Summer Olympics in London . At the games in England he was also a member of the water polo team and again finished 13th with the team in the Olympic tournament won by Italy. He also took part with the Uruguayan team in the 1951 Pan American Games in Buenos Aires . There he started swimming.
