Julius Peter

Julius Peter (* 1853 ; † 1934 ) was a director of the National Bank for Germany .

Life

In 1888 he became director of the National Bank for Germany . He held this office until 1901. He was also a member of the board of the Akkumulatoren-Fabrik Aktiengesellschaft (AFA), Berlin and a founding member of the Urania company in Berlin (1888).

Julius Peter was married to Adele Landau († February 8, 1932). Their daughter, Else Edle von Peter, was married to Kurt Rathenau , the brother of Josephine Levy-Rathenau .
