Julius Wagner (athlete)

Julius Wagner (born October 12, 1882 in Reutlingen , † March 2, 1952 in Bern ) was a German - Swiss athlete . He was the German record holder in the javelin throw and took part in the Olympic Games in 1906, 1908 and 1912. As a founding member of the then Swiss Olympic Comité (today: Swiss Olympic Association ), he published commemorative works on the Olympic Games from 1912 to 1948.

In 1920 he founded the Swiss sports newspaper " Sport " and sold it a year later.
