Jumeirah Beach Residence
Jumeirah Beach Residence (common short form "JBR", Arabic: جميرا بيتش ريزيدنس) is a residential complex in Dubai , United Arab Emirates .
JBR is located in the Dubai Marina district of Dubai and consists of 36 residential towers on an area of 2 million square meters. It is therefore the largest residential complex in the world and offers accommodation for a total of 10,000 people. JBR was built in 2002 by "Dubai Properties" (part of " Dubai Holding ") and opened in 2007. The cost of this project was 6 billion UAE dirhams .

Jumeirah Beach Residence consists of 36 residential towers in 6 sectors and 4 hotels. The style of the towers themselves is Arabic. All sectors have Arabic names that deal with life by the sea:
- Murjan / مرجان (corals): 6 towers
- Sadaf / صدف (shell): 7 towers
- Bahar / بحر (sea): 7 towers
- Rimal / رمال (sand): 6 towers
- Amwaj / أمواج (waves): 5 towers
- Shams / شمس (sun): 5 towers
In addition, the “ Al Fattan Marine Towers ” are located between “Sadaf” and “Bahar ”.
"The Walk"
"The Walk" is located along the JBR. A variety of restaurants, cafés and small shops can be found over a distance of 1.7 kilometers.
