Jump Festa

The Jump Festa ( Jap. ジャンプフェスタ , Jampu Fesuta ) is an annually by the publisher Shueisha aligned Manga - Anime and video game trade show. The event is according to the Jump magazines published by the publisher, u. a. Shōnen Jump , named.

The Jump Festa first took place in December 1999 as Jump Festa 2000 in Tokyo Big Sight . Since 2003 the fair has been held annually in December on the premises of the Makuhari Messe in Chiba . The focus is on the presentation of the publisher's series in all forms: manga, anime and video game. In addition to Shueisha as the host, various anime studios and video game developers are also regularly represented with their products accompanying the respective series. The fair regularly attracts more than 150,000 visitors on the two days of the event.

On various stages, visitors have the opportunity to meet manga authors and seiyū of current or completed series. As part of the fair, special episodes from the various anime series or new presentations are also regularly presented to the public.
