Jun'ichi Kakizaki

Jun'ichi Kakizaki ( Japanese 柿 崎 順 一 , Kakizaki Jun'ichi ; born January 4, 1971 in Chikuma ) is a Japanese installation artist who works primarily with flowers and other natural materials. He is a lecturer in design at Nagano Agricultural College.

Life

Junichi Kakizaki grew up surrounded by flowers when his parents owned a flower shop. He received both an artistic education and an education in horticulture .

Kakizaki attended the Yoyogi Formative Art School in Tokyo . From 1990 to 1993 he studied at The Botanical College of Technological Horticulture , Horticultural science part, Floral Art & Design course ( flower arrangements & floristry ).

Since 2000 he has been a lecturer in design at Nagano Agricultural College.
