June Travis
June Travis (born August 7, 1914 in Chicago , Illinois , as June Dorothea Grabiner , † April 14, 2008 ibid) was an American film actress .
life and career
Travis made her film debut in Stranded in 1935 . One year later she played as a partner of James Cagney as the female lead in zero height . Numerous films followed alongside stars such as Ronald Reagan and Lucille Ball . In 1938 she withdrew into private life. In 1952 she made a brief comeback with the film The Star . Before she finally retired from acting, she took on a leading role in Monster A-Go Go in 1965 .
June Travis was married to Fred Friedlob . She died of natural causes in 2008.
