Jung-gu ( Korean 중구 ) is one of the 16 districts of Busan . It is one of the southern districts of the city. The smallest gu Busan in terms of area is bordered by the Dong-gu in the northeast and the Seo-gu in the west . In addition, the island district of Yeongdo-gu is located directly off the coast of Jung-gu.
The name literally means central district .
Districts
Jung-gu consists of eight dong (sub-districts), with Yeongju-gu in the north being divided into two dong of its own. The district thus has a total of nine dong.
