Junge Dichter und Denker ( JDD for short ) is a German music project from Buchholz in the Nordheide that raps famous poems and ballads and adds beats to them. The band consists only of teenagers.
history
The idea of rapping poetry came to Nicola Casper, the youngest in the band, in 2006 when she was 10 years old when she was supposed to memorize a poem for school. Since she found it boring, they rapped it and with the help of her family mingled Achim Oppermann hip-hop - beats under the text. With Thomas D from the Fantastischen Vier , the front rappers Nicola Casper, Konstantin Hillmer, Laura Zimmerlich, Tim Ahrens and Philipp Greiveldinger recorded more poems with twenty other children, young people and adolescents.
