Young sparrow

Young Spervogel (around 1200 or later) is the name of a high medieval song poet not known by name , to whom Herger (around 1170) and Spervogel (after 1170?) Also belonged.

The small Heidelberg song manuscript from the late 13th century handed down four stanzas in one tone and two individual stanzas under the author's name "Junge Spervogel" . A melody for the first note is recorded in a manuscript from the 15th century under the author's name “Junge Stolle”.
