Juozas Matonis

Juozas Matonis is a Lithuanian former politician , vice minister .

Life

His brother is Algirdas Matonis (* 1960), a criminal investigator and police superintendent. His father was Juozas Matonis.

On March 5, 1991, the Prime Minister of Lithuania appointed Gediminas Vagnorius Matonis as Deputy Minister of Personnel Affairs and Deputy Minister of the Interior . On November 21, 1991, Vagnorius appointed him first deputy minister of the interior in the Vagnorius I cabinet . After that he was the director of UAB "Skomė".
