JurPC is a legal journal for legal informatics and information law . From 1989 to 1996 JurPC was published as a monthly print magazine, and since 1997 it has been published as a free, weekly internet magazine, that is, in open access . The magazine is partly financed through advertising.

In JurPC, essays, conference reports and court decisions with a focus on the Internet , legal informatics , new media and IT are published. There is also a free weekly newsletter.

JurPC has "more than 50,000 visits a month". The newsletter is sent to around 5,500 subscribers.

The magazine is published by Maximilian Herberger , who taught in Saarbrücken until 2014 .
