Jurdaičiai
Jurdaičiai is a village of 578 inhabitants (2001) in the joniškis district municipality , district Šiauliai in Lithuania . It is located on the Skaistgirys - Jankūnai highway , 16 km west of the town of Joniškis , 9 km south of Skaistgirys. Jurdaičiai Manor existed from 1919 to 1939 (there has been a boarding school there since 1990). The Vešėtinis flows to the east of Jurdaičiai . Forests (Beržynė, Maldeniai (Obelynė) and Didmiškis) surround the village. From 1957 to 2009 there was a primary school, a kindergarten. Since 2007 there is a youth club “JJC” in Jurdaičiai.
