construction

Construction began at the end of 2007. For this purpose, a new technology, a freezing method, was used for the first time, which prevents the permafrost soil from heating up during the work to such an extent that it thaws and becomes unstable. On September 24, 2009, operations across the bridge were ceremoniously opened.

Technical parameters

In the approach bridges, the bridge comprises 107 bridge fields, each 34.2 meters long, and two main openings made of trussed girders with a span of 110 meters each for the actual river crossing . These bridge sections are supported on 110 piers , which had to be driven 30 to 60 meters deep into the ground due to the permafrost and the hydrological conditions. The construction weighs 30,000 tons.
