Jussieu Canyon

The Jussieu Canyon is a deep sea trench system at a depth of 3200 m in the East Antarctic D'Urville Sea . It is located off the coast of Adélieland .
It is named after the Place Jussieu in the 5th arrondissement of Paris , the seat of the Laboratoire de Géologie Dynamique of the University of Pierre and Marie Curie .
