Justin Brill

Justin Brill (born January 22, 1903 in Magdeburg , † after 1973) was a German civil servant and economist . From 1933 on he was the personal advisor to the leader of the Reichsbund der Deutschen Officials (RDB), Hermann Neef , and after the Second World War he was the long-time managing director of the Federal Border Guard Association. Life

He was the son of the Magdeburg medical advisor Friedrich Brill and attended the cathedral high school in the capital of the Prussian province of Saxony . Justin Brill then studied at the Universities of Halle-Wittenberg, Münster, Berlin and Hamburg and graduated with a degree in economics. In 1927 he received his doctorate in Rostock Dr. rer. pole. His dissertation with the title The organizational problem of the German workforce in view of the structural changes in industry since the beginning of the World War , he self-published in Magdeburg in 1928. From 1928 to 1929 Justin Bill was an assistant at the Lower Rhine Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In 1930 he became manager of the Reich Association of Higher Officials. After the seizure of power by the Nazis in 1933, he was personal assistant to the leader of the 1933 founded and the NSDAP connected RDB. It was based in Berlin , Spreestrasse 16. Justin Brill was also a member of the Reich Association of German Administrative Academies.

After the Second World War, Justin Brill was for many years managing director of the Federal Border Guard Association, which was founded in Goslar in 1951 . Together with Helmut Pfeffer, he edited the specialist journal of the Federal Border Guard Association, Der Grenzjäger . In 1970 he retired. He retired in Bad Honnef .
