Justin Jamel McCaw (born October 12, 1998 in Bruck an der Mur ) is an Austrian - American basketball player.

career

The son of former professional basketball player Sean McCaw made his Bundesliga debut for the Kapfenberg Bulls during the 2015/16 season . In 2016 he went to the United States, his father's homeland, to play at ThunderRidge High School, Colorado . In the 2018/19 season he was in the squad of the Northwest Kansas Technical College, but was not used, in February 2019 he joined the Bundesliga club Arkadia Traiskirchen . In the run-up to the 2019/20 season, he moved within the league to UBSC Raiffeisen Graz . There he gave a positive doping test in November 2019 , traces of cannabinoid had been found in the sample. He was therefore banned for two years until March 6, 2022.

National team

In 2016 McCaw took part in the B-European Championship with Austria's U18 selection.
