Michael H. Weber

Michael H. Weber (* 1976 or 1977 ) is an American screenwriter and executive producer .

Career

Weber's career began in 2009 by writing the script for the film (500) Days of Summer . This was followed by more scripts for The Pink Panther 2 , The Spectacular Now , The Fate Is A Lousy Traitor , Margo's Footsteps and Our Souls at Night . For his artistic achievement, for the screenplay for The Disaster Artist , Weber received a nomination in the category " Best Adapted Screenplay " at the 2018 Academy Awards . The award went to James Ivory for his work on Call Me by Your Name . He also received his second WGA Award nomination for this film , the first for (500) Days of Summer .

Weber developed the scripts together with his friend Scott Neustadter , who have known each other since 1999.
