The Pink Panther 2 (Original title: The Pink Panther 2) is an American comedy film from 2009 . The film is the sequel to The Pink Panther (2006) .

In London , the Magna Carta is stolen from the British Library , the Shroud of Turin is stolen from the Cathedral of Turin , and the Imperial sword is stolen in Kyoto . At each crime scene, the perpetrator leaves a business card that suggests the notorious art thief “The Tornado”.
Inspector Clouseau, who had previously been transferred to the parking meter service by Dreyfus, is now to be sent to investigate in Japan in order to assist the authorities there with the investigation and the search for the important art treasures. At the airport, however, Clouseau was forced to turn back when the news was spread that the "Pink Panther", a jewel and national symbol of France, had also been stolen.
