Son of the Pink Panther (Son of the Pink Panther) is a US-American - Italian film comedy by Blake Edwards in 1993. It is a part of The Pink Panther .

action

Princess Yasmin and her father spend their holidays in a seaside resort in France. The princess is kidnapped, the kidnappers demand that her father resign.

Charles Dreyfus is charged with the investigation. He is investigating in Nice and is hoping for help from the local police. He is assigned Jacques Gambrelli, an idiot village policeman who lives with his mother Maria. At a meeting at their house, it is revealed that he is an illegitimate son of Jacques Clouseau. From then on, he called himself Jacques Clouseau Jr. and went on a search for clues in Paris, in the inspector's former apartment. There he met Cato, his servant at the time, who was still managing the apartment. He wants to be at his side, but Clouseau jr keeps him standing there.

You go to North Africa to the kingdom of the princess. Since he was the only one to see the princess in a clash between the kidnappers in Nice, he is the target of numerous assassinations. A turbulent chase follows. And of course Clouseau falls in love with the princess. The king suspects corrupt military and terrorists are responsible; he puts his "special forces" at the side of the stupid policeman, who are supposed to help him catch the leader of the terrorists, Uncle Idris, who is working with the kidnappers. The trail leads Clouseau Jr. to a desert fort where the princess is being held captive. This is stormed and Clouseau jr survives through controlled coincidences. Like his father, he defeats kidnappers and supporters with his stupid manner.

In the end, like his father in a similar way, he is honored by the king at a ceremony - and his mother marries Dreyfus. Little does he know that Maria still has a daughter named Jacqueline, who surprisingly turns up at the party.
