criticism
“A lovable obituary for the comedian Peter Sellers and his legendary embodiment of the idiot policeman, created from old, partly never used scenes and a newly shot frame story. This 'leftover' use leaves a stale aftertaste, however, because, in addition to some ingenious slapstick gags, it also contains many weak, superfluous scenes that only serve to stretch the film to full length.
