Anthony Patrick Adams (born February 15, 1953 in Dublin , Ireland , † October 22, 2005 in New York , USA ) was an American film and theater producer.

Life

Tony Adams was an assistant to John Boorman early in his career . In the early 1970s he produced a number of feature films and TV films with Blake Edwards , such as the Pink Panther series ("The Pink Panther"), Ten - The Dream Woman (1979), "SOB" (1981) and "Victor / Victoria "(1982). He also worked as a concert promoter for Julie Andrews .

His unprecedented career was crowned with a total of 12 Academy Award nominations (he was awarded the Academy Award once), 23 Golden Globe nominations (the award was awarded 13 times), a César Prize and 3 Grammy Award nominations.

Tony Adams was married a total of three times and has a total of 4 children from these marriages. His first two marriages to Avril Adams and Debrah Farentino were divorced before he married wife number 3, Broadway actress Anne Runolfsson.
