Jennifer Edwards (born January 1, 1957 in Los Angeles ) is an American actress .

Life

Jennifer Edwards is the daughter of director and screenwriter Blake Edwards and actress Patricia Walker . After their divorce, she grew up with her biological brother Geoffrey and three step-siblings with their father and his second wife Julie Andrews . Jennifer Edwards has two daughters who have also worked as actresses.

Career

At the age of five, Jennifer Edwards first appeared in the film The Days of Wine and Roses , directed by her father. In 1968 she took on her first leading role in Heidi kehre heim , a television adaptation of Heidi with Maximilian Schell and Jean Simmons .

In SOB she was used in a supporting role in a film by her father again, and not for the last time. The director liked to have small parts in his films played by family members or close friends. Other examples of such “family productions” were That's Life! That's life or women were his hobby , in which Jennifer and her siblings also took on roles. Jennifer Edwards also made a few appearances in the Pink Panther films .
