Justinas Algimantas Palaima
Justinas Algimantas Palaima (born March 4, 1934 in Užupės , Jonava district ; † October 30, 2012 in Kaunas ) was a Lithuanian engineer and Vice-Rector.
Life
After graduating from high school in Jonava in 1954 , Palaima graduated with honors from the Politechnikos institutas in Kaunas in 1959 and then taught there. From 1962 to 1964 he studied as an apprentice and in 1967 he received his doctorate in the field of textile technology . From 1959 to 1961 he was an assistant, from 1965 to 1968 senior professor , from 1969 to 1989 lecturer and from 1990 to 2001 professor at the KTU.
