Justyn Wojsznis
Justyn Wojsznis (* 1909 in Warsaw ; † 1965 there ) was a Polish mountaineer from the interwar period.
In the Tatras he made a number of first ascents . Wojsznis also climbed outside of Europe, for example in the Atlas and the Himalayas . Together with his compatriot Jan Alfred Szczepański , he was the first to climb the highest mountain in Chile , the Ojos del Salado (6893 m), on February 26, 1937 .
Wojsznis described his experiences on the mountain in a series of books.
