Jutta Koehn

Jutta Köhn (born May 14, 1951 in Essen ) is a German lawyer and former State Secretary in North Rhine-Westphalia .

biography

Jutta Köhn studied law, politics and administration at the universities of Münster, Geneva, Heidelberg and Hamburg as well as at the American Harvard University. She worked as a lawyer from 1978 to 1980. She then worked for the Federal Ministry for Research and Technology until 1991 . In 1990, she was commissioned by the GDR Ministry of Science to reorganize the GDR Academy of Sciences .

In 1991, Köhn switched to the Hamburg regional service. From 1995 to 2002 she was the federal representative for Hamburg as Senate Director. In 2002, she assumed the position of authorized representative as State Secretary for North Rhine-Westphalia. After a four-month term in office, she was given temporary retirement in 2003 . She works as a lawyer.

Jutta Köhn is a member of the SPD .
