Cheese toppings

Cheese coating agent or cheese coating agent used to coat cheeses with an artificial bark. They are designed to protect the cheese or its rind (during ripening) from influences such as mechanically induced damage, mold formation or from drying out. They are usually not intended for human consumption; the artificial bark should be cut off beforehand. Waxes or polymers can serve as basic substances . Substances such as natamycin or dyes for optical reasons can be added to the basic substances for preservation .
