Diederstetten is a part of the community Mönchsroth in the district of Ansbach , Middle Franconia .

geography

The village lies on the Wörnitz and the Grundgraben and Keuschenlachgraben, which flow into the Wörnitz as right tributaries. The place is largely surrounded by arable land and grassland. In the southwest the field is called Weidengrund.

history

With the Gemeindeedikt (early 19th century) which was Rural Municipality Diederstetten formed, including the regions of Hasselbach and Winnetten belonged. It was subordinate to the Mönchsroth Lordship Court in terms of administration and jurisdiction . In 1961 the municipality had an area of ​​4.995 km². In the course of the regional reform (January 1, 1971) this was incorporated into Mönchsroth.
