Schleswig-Holstein Cheese Route
The Käsestraße is a holiday route that connects the cheese-producing businesses in Schleswig-Holstein as a travel route.
Since the companies are spread all over the country, the Käsestrasse goes around Schleswig-Holstein. The first presentation of the Käsestraße took place in July 1999. At the beginning of 2000 the association “Käsestraße Schleswig-Holstein” was founded. Burchard Bösche writes in his book about the idea and founding of the Käsestrasse in Schleswig-Holstein.
