König Quasi is a German-speaking rock singer from Berlin . He is under contract with the Harleckinz Entertainment label .

Career

König Quasi started rapping in 1998. In 2003 he released his debut album Eine Weltansicht . In April 2007, Quasi signed a contract with the Berlin label MainTheme Records . This ties the rapper to the independent label for four years . On July 20, 2007, König Quasi's first single Is' noch mein Bier was released . On this you can hear the musician She-Raw , who is also under contract with MainTheme . Is' but my beer was downloaded 8,000 times from the Internet in the first week of sales.

In October 2007 the album for the people should be released. The publication had to be postponed because a sample that could be heard on the sound carrier had been used without permission . As a result, the first edition of the album was crushed. Quasi then released the mixtape Revolution as a replacement . This was produced by Serk .

A label sampler from MainTheme Records was released on December 7th . Quasi is also represented on the sound carrier published under the title Fame Convention . At the end of February 2008 the album Für das Volk will be released . In addition to She-Raw and Rapper Zwang, the Jamaican reggae musician Shaggy will also be represented with a guest contribution. A video was shot for the song King of the World . This was broadcast on the music channel MTV , among others .

After an artistic break of 3 years, König almost reoriented himself and shifted his musical focus to the genres of rock / punk / grunge.

Since the beginning of 2012 he has been playing with his live band again and is working on a new album. As a forerunner to his album #UDWDSW, König Quasi released the single “Suitcase in Berlin” in 2013, a homage to his hometown, with a matching video clip. The title was used several times as background music for the program Shopping Queen . The title track of the album "And the world is turning on" was released in June 2014, including a video. The current album "#UDWDSW" was released on September 26, 2014 under the label Harleckinz Entertainment and distributed by Soulfood and Kontor.
