Kötterhaus with mikveh

The Kötterhaus with mikveh is a listed secular building at Bösingfelderstraße 10 in Lüdenhausen , a district of the municipality of Kalletal in the Lippe district ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).

History and architecture

The half-timbered house with boarded gables is marked 1687 on the carved gate. The residential part was probably built in the 18th century. The stable part was extended to the right. The facility was renovated in 1998. In the floor of the restored, former commercial hall there is a former mikveh . It was probably created when the house was being built; this is a rare example of a rural mikveh.
