Küllike Jürimäe

Küllike Jürimäe (* 1962 ) is an Estonian lawyer.

Life

Küllike Jürimäe studied law at the University of Tartu from 1981 to 1986 after graduating from high school . From 1986 to 1991 she worked for the Tallinn Public Prosecutor's Office . In 1991/92 she graduated from the Estonian Diplomatic School. From 1991 to 1993 she worked as a legal advisor, among others at the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Tallinn in 1992/93 . From 1993 to 2003, Küllike Jürimäe was a judge at the Tallinn Court of Appeal.

From May 12, 2004 to October 23, 2013, she was an Estonian judge at the Court of First Instance of the European Communities in Luxembourg . She has been a judge at the European Court of Justice since October 23, 2013.

In 2015 the blog IPKat named her “Copyright person of the year”.
