The building with the postal address Külpstraße 12 is a listed building on Külpstraße in Stralsund .

The three-storey , gable-facing building was erected at the end of the 17th century, rebuilt in 1913 and greatly changed in the process.

During the renovation at the beginning of the 20th century, the entrance was moved to the side axis, the windows were doubled, the two-storey volute gable was expanded and a single-axis extension was added on the south side. From the baroque facade are cornices and grooved pilasters preserved side of the central axis.

In the courtyard there is an essentially medieval kemladen and remains of a 13th century tower house.

The house is located in the core area of ​​the city ​​area recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site of the “ historic old towns of Stralsund and Wismar ”. It is entered in the list of architectural monuments in Stralsund with the number 451.
