Kęstutis Silauskas

Kęstutis Šilauskas (* 1994 ) is a Lithuanian chess player . At the 28th championship from 2010 to 2012 he was Lithuanian champion of the 1st division in correspondence chess . In 2009, Šilauskas took part in the WS / O / 250. In 2011 he played in the international chess tournament "Sea Festival - 2011". In 2015, Šilauskas took third place in the Lithuanian championship with the team from the Vilnius University of Technology (Rokas Klabis, Ruslan Prigodin, Kęstutis Šilauskas and Gintarė Paulauskaitė).

His current Elo ( FIDE ) is 1,740 (in December 2015). His highest rating was 1766 (in August 2015). His highest correspondence chess rating was 2,113 (as of February 2012). His trainer was Virginijus Dambrauskas (* 1962).

Personal

Since 2013, Šilauskas has been studying at the Faculty of Transport Engineering of the Vilnius University of Technology (VGTU). He lives in Vilnius .
