Abandoned block in Kłomino (2011)

The place was built from 1935 as a barracks town for the Wehrmacht on the Groß Born military training area, which was established in 1930 . After the Second World War , the Red Army took over the site and built houses, garages, accommodation for the soldiers, shops and a cinema there. Up to 1992, around 5000 people lived in the city, who they left after the collapse of the Soviet Union . Today only two forester families with a total of twelve people live in the city.
