Kōji Kataoka ( Japanese 片 岡 功 二 Kataoka Kōji ; born June 19, 1977 in Fukuoka Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Kataoka learned to play soccer on the school team at Tokai University Daigo High School . He signed his first contract in 1996 with Otsuka Pharmaceutical (today: Tokushima Vortis). The club played in the second highest league in the country, the Japan Football League . In 2004 he was with the club master of the Japan Football League and rose to the J2 League . At the end of 2009 he ended his career as a football player.
