Jan Philipp Springob

Jan Philipp Springob (born January 16, 2001 ) is a German racing driver and has been a sponsored pilot of the ADAC Sports Foundation since 2019 . He became German kart champion in 2017 and 2018 and this year is competing in the DTM Trophy for the Mercedes-AMG Customer Racing Team.

With the application "Superdrink by Bremotion", Springob starts together with the influencer Felix von der Laden .

Life

Jan Philipp Springob was born on January 16, 2001 and grew up in the district town of Olpe ( North Rhine-Westphalia ). He gained attention at a young age at the club championships of the Olper Automobile Club.

Career

At the X-30 Junior Championships of the ADAC Kart Masters in 2015, the kart driver fought for 5th place.

In 2016, the young star finished the ADAC Kart Masters season in 4th place. Springob took part in a karting world championship for the first time in 2016 and finished the final in 17th place. Although he was involved in a collision, he finished the world championship as the best German participant.

In 2017 Springob won the German championship after 8 out of 10 runs with a margin of 49 points. In the final of the European Championship in Genk he reached the 12th place and finished the tournament as the best German.

In the following year Springob defended the German championship, so he won after 9 of 10 races with a lead of 26 points. In Le Mans, France, he reached 4th place in the Kart World Championship.

In the 2019 season of the junior classification of the ADAC GT4 Germany, the young racing driver managed to achieve 3rd place.
