kuk HB VI

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

kuk HB VI was the type designation for mallet locomotives with six coupling axles of the kuk Heeresbahn (kukHB). After the war the locomotives came to the Železnice Kraljevine Srba, Hrvata i Slovenaca (SHS, Railways of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes) and to Italy. The locomotives in Bosnian gauge came from the German manufacturer Henschel & Sohn .

Wet steam tank locomotives (JDŽ 91)

The wet steam tank locomotives built in 1916 were replicas of the SDŽ 500 class of the Serbian State Railways Srpske Državne Železnice (SDŽ). In the Yugoslav Railways (JDŽ, later JŽ) the series was designated as the 91 series.

Superheated steam tender locomotives (JDŽ 92)

Of the superheated steam tender locomotives developed by Henschel based on the model of the SD® 500 tank locomotives, only one or two machines could be delivered during the war. After the war, along with the rest of the order, they ended up on the railways of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes (SHS) and later on to the JDŽ, which they referred to as the 92 series.
