Kyoto Broadcasting System Company, Ltd (株式会社 京都 放送 Kabushiki-gaisha Kyōto Hōsō, KBS) is a commercial broadcasting station based in Kyoto , Japan . It was founded on June 26, 1951 as Radio Kyoto. The television test broadcast was started in 1968 by the Hiei-zan .
