KIPO (radio station)

KIPO-FM is Hawaii Public Radio's "News and Talk" radio station in Honolulu , Hawaii . The station went on air as the second station of the HPR, which now has six stations. The HPR-2 program went on air with KIPO and today the station is the regular broadcaster for the news and talk channel of Hawaii Public Radio .
KIPO broadcasts on VHF 89.3 MHz at 38.5 kW from the same location in Honolulu as KHPR .
