content

KO OK was based on the radio show Da is speechless , developed by Rosenthal , which he had already hosted at RIAS . In two opposing teams, three prominent guests competed . In the run-up to the game round, the audience - but not the teams - was given a word that could not be used. Then a topic of conversation was given, on which each guest had to speak for a minute, after which it was the turn of the other team. If the unknown word was used by chance, the corresponding team received three points (“OK”). In the further course of the game this word was no longer allowed to be used, if it did, the other team received a point ("KO"). There was also another rule that allowed teams to object to attempts to delay or changes to the topic of conversation. In this case, the jury decided on the correctness of the objection. If the objection was granted, the opposing team received one point.

team

The team consisted of three assistants and a three-person jury ( Dagmar Bergmeister , Martin Jente and Uwe Seeler ). While the assistants ( Birgit Hofmann , Monika Sundermann , Gundula Walther ) were responsible for timing and keeping the point list, the jury was responsible for making a decision and assigning the points in the event of objections by the candidates.

running time

The first broadcast was broadcast on January 31, 1977 on ZDF, until 1980 there were a total of 33 half-hour episodes in the evening program.
