KSG SV 07 / Union 02 Hamborn

The war sports community SV Hamborn 07 / Union 02 Hamborn (short: KSG SV 07 / Union 02 Hamborn) was a war game community of the soccer teams of Hamborn 07 and Union 02 Hamborn from 1943 to 1945 during World War II . The syndicate was dissolved again after the end of the war.

KSG SV 07 / Union 02 Hamborn took over the place of SV Hamborn 07 in the Gauliga Niederrhein at the beginning of the 1943/44 season and finished penultimate there at the end of the season. Regardless of the KSG, the local rivals Yellow-White Hamborn and last year's champions Westende Hamborn were also represented in the league during the season. In the 1944/45 season , game operations came to a standstill after just one game day.
