KSV Oudenaarde (officially: Koninklijke Sportvereniging Oudenaarde ) is a football club from the city of Oudenaarde .

history

KSV Oudenaarde was founded in 1908. In 1919 the club joined the Royal Belgian Football Association . The club predominantly plays in the third class, but made it to the second division after the 2011/12 season before relegating a year later.

Club names

It was founded under the name SK Aldenardia (Sportkring Aldenardia). When they merged with FC Audenarais in 1919, it became SV Audenaerde (Sportvereeniging Audenaerde). The name changed to SV Oudenaarde. In 1951 the club received the addition Koninklijke (= royal) and from then on called itself Koninklijke Sportvereniging Oudenaarde.
