KSnapshot is KDE's screenshot program . The program is easy to use and can record individual windows as well as an entire screen immediately or with an adjustable delay. It is also possible to use the mouse to limit the recording to an area of a screen or a visible window. The images can then either be saved, copied to the clipboard or (as an automatically generated temporary file) transferred to a selectable program for further processing .
With the release of KDE Applications 15.12, KSnapshot was replaced by a new program called Spectacle.
