Cabaret lesson

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Cabaret Trio Cabaret lesson from Magdeburg originally consisted of Thomas Müller, Vera Feldmann and Frank Hengstmann . The cabaret was officially founded under this name in 2005, but has been performing together since 2003, as the three actors were members of the Magdeburg Zwickmühle ensemble from 2003 to 2005 .

In 2006, the cabaret memorial, still with Frank Hengstmann in the ensemble, won the renowned Reinheimer Satirelöwe cabaret prize . Since October 2008, Hengstmann's Knut Müller-Ehrecke has been the third “memo”.

In May 2009, Müller announced the termination of the cabaret. Since then there have been no more performances.

style

The political-satirical programs were characterized by a high level of musicality. Müller and Hengstmann both master several instruments. Musical parodies were an integral part of every program and became a hallmark of cabaret. The programs were also varied in terms of content. Local political content can be found as well as national or national political topics.

Striking, recurring figures such as Olle Fritz (Friedrich der Große), the Magdeburg Original Manni Fest or Karl Lagerfeld opened up new and amusing views on current political issues to the audience.

Thomas Müller and Frank Hengstmann wrote all the lyrics themselves. Together they wrote what was probably Germany's first cabaret trilogy.

Venue

From 2003 to 2005 the trio was initially a member of Magdeburg's dilemma. In 2005 the three founded the cabaret memorial and performed under this name until 2008 as permanent guests in the Magdeburg Zwickmühle. In March 2008, Thomas Müller and Frank Hengstmann opened their own venue in the Hundertwasserhaus Magdeburg . Since then, this has been a permanent venue for cabaret. In May 2009, however, it was closed.

The cabaret memorial has also been a permanent guest on the Theaterschiff in Hamburg since 2005 and has made guest appearances throughout Germany.
