Lists on the subject

The Kabeala is a sword from Indonesia.

description

The Kabeala has a straight, single-edged, bulbous, heavy blade. The blade widens from the handle to the location . The back of the blade is slightly curved. The place is cut off at an angle or is rounded. The edge side is made bulbous in the local area in order to put the center of gravity of the blade forward. The back of the blade is shorter than the cutting edge. The handle is usually made of wood or horn and is bent at the pommel and worked in the shape of a hoof. Some versions have a metal clamp on the pommel, which is used for better attachment between the blade and the handle. The sheaths are made of wood, are in two parts and are wrapped with rattan cords for better fastening . The local area is rounded and a widening is carved out in the vaginal mouth area, which overhangs towards the cutting edge. The Kabeala is used by ethnic groups in Indonesia.
