Cabinet for sentimental trivial literature
The cabinet for sentimental trivial literature in Solothurn ( Switzerland ) is a library and museum dedicated to trivial literature with an emphasis on sentimental works by or for women of the 19th century .
The cabinet was founded in 1996 by the journalist Lotte Ravicini-Tschumi as a foundation and comprises around 1,800 volumes (as of 2005). It mainly collects German-language love , adventure and homeland novels , girls' literature and related things. The old stock of several hundred volumes mainly includes works from the 19th century.
